Thermo Shield ist die Basis-Veredelung, mit der Edelrid alle Seile behandelt, um die bewährte Geschmeidigkeit der Edelrid Seile zu garantieren. Diese Veredelung ist ein thermischer Prozess, durch den Kern- und Mantelgarne perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt werden. So werden die Gleiteigenschaften der Garne innerhalb des Seils harmonisiert und das Seil wird geschmeidig und kompakt. Dies erzeugt Seile, die weder Nachschrumpfen noch schnell steif werden.
